National Alliance for Public Charter Schools

The largest charter advocacy organization in the U.S.  Their 2011 Annual Conference will be held in Atlanta — plan to attend!

Georgia Charter Schools Association

Georgia’s charter school advocacy organization — offers technical assistance to charter school petitioners, works to pass charter-friendly legislation, champions best practices in school governance, offers training and consulting services to charter schools, and helps proliferate quality charter schools across the state.

Parent Revolution

Los Angeles-based parent action network of parent groups dedicated to radical public school improvement and turnaround. In their words: “For too long, everyone else has been in charge of our children’s schools.  Politicians.  Bureaucrats.  Special interests. They had the power. We were told to do the bake sales.  Now its our turn to take back the power over child’s education.  We are the only ones who will always stand up for our children, no matter what.”

BAEO – Black Alliance for Educational Options

Dedicated to increasing access to high-quality educational options for Black children by actively supporting parental choice policies and programs that empower low-income and working-class Black families.

Center for Education Reform

CER focuses on the creation of better educational opportunities for all children by leading parents, policymakers and the media in boldly advocating for school choice, advancing the charter school movement, and challenging the education establishment.

Alliance for School Choice

A vanguard organization for promoting, implementing, and enhancing K-12 educational choice. In collaboration with a host of national and state allies, we create opportunities for systemic and sustainable educational reform that puts parents in charge.

Hispanic Council for Reform & Educational Options (H-CREO)

Founded to address the crisis in Hispanic education by empowering Hispanic families with parental choice in education. By creating coalitions with parents, teachers, schools, faith-based organizations and corporate America, Hispanic CREO has been able to educate, inform and mobilize Hispanic parents.
